Meet the Teams Night, press box open house scheduled for August 22

Meet WBHS fall activities participants, see the new press box, win parking spots.

West Branch High School has announced details for the 2019 edition of Meet the Teams Night. The evening of festivities is scheduled for this coming Thursday, August 22 at the Little Rose Bowl in downtown West Branch.

The annual Meet the Teams Night is a chance for Bears fans to get introduced to the coaches and players of the fall activities at West Branch High School. Teams getting introdcued include Cheer Squad, Volleyball, Cross Country, Swim, and Football. In addition, the Marching Band will perform a selection of music. The Cheer Squad will also perform with their Little Bear Cheer Camp participants.

Other activities during Meet the Teams Night include the Booster Club's parking spot auction and press box suite raffle for week two. The park spot auction features 10 spots up for grabs, each with a personalized keepsake parking sign.

Festivities begin at 6:00pm and will last approximately 90 minutes. If you're unable to attend, the BearCast is planning to live stream audio from the event starting shortly before 6:00pm.

Prior to the start of Meet the Teams Night, starting at 5:00pm will be an open house for the new press box. The school district invites all fans to check out the new press box, which features a larger and more accomodating concession area, restrooms, larger rooms for press box staff and coaches, and a guest suite.
