Game Notes

REGINA enters week 7 after having a week off due to an opponent cancelling their season. So, you can look at it two ways: we'd like to play or we can shore up some things and prepare for West Branch. My guess, it was the latter. Another season, another strong Regal squad, Led by two signal callers (Jack Tierney and Gentry Dumont), and a new RB (Levi Daniel), Regina's offense is just ho-hum and pressing forward. Tierney is the far better runner of the duo. Daniel leads the team with just shy of 600 yards rushing in four actual games played. But, up front is where the Regals will win games. Their offense goes as the big guys go…and it's been going rather well.

KEEP AN EYE ON: Aiden Udell. He is a monster on both sides of the ball.

WEST BRANCH will face a ranked opponent for the third time this season. They have faced some challenges this season, but none had as much on the line as this one. A district title is on the line. RB Andy Henson is coming off a career high 226 yard rushing performance. That means the WB front five have done a pretty solid job as well. Sophomore DB Cale Seydel and Holden Arnaman have really helped shore things up for a stingy Bear defense. QB Carver Boelk has really been hitting a stride in his game by game growth ON the field. Drake Berry, Logan Wright, and their DL/LB friends will play a pivotal role for the visiting team on Friday.

QUOTABLE: “This is a game you work for beginning in August. You love to suit up for opportunities like this one. To be qualified for the postseason tournament is a fantastic honor for this group." – Head Coach Butch Pedersen
